007

I started my career as an actor on stage and screen, specialising in dance and movement, before moving behind the lens and completing an MA in Cinematography at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I trained under Witold Stok, BSC.

I’ve worked as the cinematographer on numerous award-winning shorts, documentaries, commercials, music videos and an international indie feature film, The Bones on Greenwich Shore.

My work has been screened around the world at various international festivals, such as Hot Docs, BFI Flare, Encounters, BFI Flare, Nashville Film Festival and DIFF and I have worked on content for an array of broadcaster, including HBO, Showmax, SABC and Silwerskerm. I am also a member of the International Collective of Female Cinematographers (ICFC), and the Primetime Network.

I am naturally curious, an unashamed coffee snob, a dog lover and an avid traveller. And one of the many joys of my work is the varied places and people it has shown me: from the Scottish border towns, to the Zambian Copperbelt, or the remote, rolling hills of the Eastern Cape in my native South Africa.

I speak English, German, French and Afrikaans and am based both in London and Cape Town and have an EU and South African passport, making travel and work easier.

Please get in touch – I’d love to hear how we can collaborate.
